Meet Dr. Arun Gangadhar.
Dr. Arun trained in respiratory and critical care medicine and practises the full breadth of pulmonology — from everyday asthma and COPD to interstitial lung disease, sleep apnoea and complex airway and pleural problems that need a procedure to answer.
Lung Care, on Cowley Brown Road in RS Puram, was built around that practice: a calm consulting space with complete lung function testing, sleep studies and interventional capability, so most patients get a diagnosis without being sent from place to place. Patients also come from Tiruppur, Pollachi, Palakkad and the Nilgiris.

No. You can book an appointment directly — by phone, WhatsApp or our online booking link. A referral letter from your GP is welcome but not required.
A standard PFT takes 30–45 minutes, including the coaching, the test itself and a bronchodilator response check if needed. A full report is handed over the same day.Lung function test →
Both are available. We offer attended overnight polysomnography at a partner sleep lab and convenient home sleep apnea tests, with CPAP titration and follow-up support.Sleep apnoea guide →
Consultations and most diagnostic services are paid out-of-pocket. We provide itemised receipts and prescriptions so you can claim with your insurer or reimburse through your employer.

Any previous prescriptions, inhalers, sleep study reports, chest X-rays or CT scans (films or CDs), and a list of current medications. A simple symptom diary helps too.
